Regenerative Therapies

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Price Range: Injections $550-$675 (PRP Face Lift, PRP Joint Injection, PRP Hair Restoration, PRP Sexual Dysfunction- AKA O-shot & P-shot)

PRP is an autologous therapy used for a variety of aesthetic and musculoskeletal conditions in which an individuals own Platelet Rich Plasma is injected or microneedled into the affected location to achieve a desired effect. PRP contains growth factors and cytokines that stimulate  tissue repair and regeneration.

Studies show that PRP speeds up healing, helps with collagen and tissue regeneration, reduces hair loss, reduces the signs of aging, helps with sexual rejuvenation, and sometimes can even relieves pain. It takes several months for PRP to start working and up to 6 months to notice the full effects. Some conditions require a series of treatments to achieve results and maintenance treatments to keep the desired effects.

The process involves drawing an individual’s blood from their arm and processing it in a centrifuge to separate the red blood cells from the plasma and platelets. The red blood cells are discarded and the platelets, some white blood cells, and plasma is kept.  Our center uses double spin centrifugation to prepare the PRP which leads to a high concentration of platelets than the single spin method.

PRP is not suitable for some people such as those who have cancer, an active infection, bleeding disorders, abnormal platelet function, or anemia.

Common conditions treated with PRP include:

  • Winkles and fine lines

  • Sagging skin

  • Hyperpigmentation

  • Poor skin tone and texture

  • Enlarged pores

  • Age spots

  • Stretch marks

  • Melasma

  • Acnes scarring

  • Hair thinning/loss

  • Sexual dysfunction

  • Osteoarthritis

  • Torn tendons

  • Tendonitis

  • Joint injury

  • Muscle injury

  • Arthritis pain

Exosomes & Stem Cells

Price Range (dependent on my costs): Exosomes 1 ml $1000, Sexosomes 1 cc $1350, Umbilical Cord Suspension $600, Amniotic Fluid Suspension $2400. If enough demand: autologous fat harvest and transfer $3000, Cord Blood Stem Cells 1cc $2000, Wharton's Jelly 1 cc $2400

EXOSOMES

In addition to PRP, we offer the use of Exosomes for regenerative medicine therapies. Similarly to PRP, Exosomes use growth factors to restore and regenerate tissue.

Exosomes are extracellular vesicles that are released from mesenchymal stem cells that contain proteins, lipids, messenger-RNA, micro-RNA, and cytokines. Exosomes contain a higher concentraion of growth factors than PRP and adult stem cells. You can combine Exosomes with PRP, autologous fat transfer, and many other procedures.

Exosomes can enhance cell to cell communication which is essential for over all health and can enhance cell regeneration and restoration throughout the body and stimulate healing.

Exosomes are collected from donors. In our case, as well as most other regenerative medicine facilities, Exosomes are from umbilical cord tissue and/or amniotic fluid. This is an FDA regulated procedure. We use a supplier that gets stem cells and Exosomes from amniotic fluid and umbilical cord tissue from consenting mothers after scheduled cesarean birth procedures. The mothers are screened for infections and the donated material is sterilized and processed into a form that can be injected into an affected area or used intravenously.

Common uses of Exosome therapy include:

  • Osteoarthritis

  • Chronic pain

  • Musculoskeletal injuries

  • Chronic degenerative disease

  • Natural aging process

STEM CELLS

Stem cells are a unique type of cell found the body because they can become any type of cell. Stem cells are found in embryos, umbilical cords, amniotic fluid, bone marrow, and fat. Adult stem cells are more limited in their ability than embryonic and perinatal (from umbilical cord and amniotic fluid) stem cells, but new research suggests Adult stem cells may not be quite as limited as scientists once thought. There are ethical issues surrounding using embryonic stem cells as they are from embryos that are 3-5 days old. This is why in most cases perinatal and adult stem cells are used for therapies.
